Be it eyebrows, eyeliner, lip color, skin camouflaging, or hair strokes. Patients should know that ink injected under skin would fade over time.  However, the rate of fading in each individual varies.

Exposure to the sun or UV light may increase fading in some people. Obviously, we are not going to commit to a life indoors, but sunscreen should be adapted into our year round skin care regime anyway. This will prevent age spots, wrinkles and maintain your permanent cosmetic investment!

Another color buster are glycolics, Retin-A or wrinkle creams, those promote fading only because they are products that break down the skin at quicker rate.

Of course, our bodies are organic, and accept color differently, so therefore, fade rates will vary as well from person to person.
